Quiz only shown as preview to student?

A student of mine claims to only see a preview option when attempting quizzes? 

Did anyone have a similar issue? How do I resolve this?

To my knowledge, students cannot preview a quiz in Canvas.  Without being able to see the screen that your student was referring to, this would be a bit difficult to diagnose here in the Community.  Were you able to find a solution for this with your student?  Was the student able to take the quiz properly?  Please let Community members know how they might be able to continue to assist you with this.  Thank you.
