Is there any way to give students scores marked down if they submit their homework after the deadline in Canvas quiz session?
@xuafei , yes, if you go to Speedgrader and to the student's submission you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and give the student negative "fudge points."
Hi Kona,
Thanks a lot for your reply. But I'm just wondering if Canvas has a function or built-in where it could change the setting of the quiz and automatically give students score marked down for late submissions so that I don't need to change students scores one by one for late submissions?
@xuafei , if you switch to the new gradebook (in Beta right now) you have the option of applying a "late policy" for all gradebook assignments. See the following guide for more information - https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-13948-73553826329
Do you know of a way to assign late for only on 1 particular quiz/ assignment? Thank you.
@xuafei ,

to canvas developer: seems the link added above works only for all-assignment/quiz submissions. Is there a way to use it only on 1 particular quiz/ assignment?
