How do I add an assignment group in a course?

I would like to know how to change the view for each Assignment Group column from percentages to points, so that the points earned in each group can be seen the same way I have set up the final grade to be seen as points instead of percentages. Please help.  Thank you!

You cannot change assignment group display to points. In the gradebook, you can click on the three-dot menu at the top of the Total column to display as points.

In the individual gradebook, students are shown the grades in both percentage and points earned (screenshot below is a demo account).
