How can a student re-submit a file through the Assignments link? In other words, if a student submitted a rough draft, then needed to revise it and re-submit it, how can he/she do that? Is there a way for the student or the instructor to delete the initial draft from that grade column, so a revised draft can be submitted?

Hi Diane,
As long as the assignment is still open (before the Until date if set), students can re-submit an assignment. There is nothing you need to do to enable this. Instead of seeing a Submit button, there will be a Re-Submit button in exactly the same place.
When a student re-submits an assignment it will show in your To Do list for grading, and in SpeedGrader you'll have access to the most recent submission as well as a drop down list to select and view all previous submissions as well.

Hello,
If an assignment due date has been reached and is re-opened to allow a resubmission, will this reopening allow the assignment to show back up on the student's Canvas calendar? Or will the assignment still be "strikethrough" since it was previously from the first submission?
Thanks!
