Recording video within the content editor

The current content editor allows you record a media comment within an announcment, page, etc...
In January 2020, Flash will no longer be supported.
Will this option for recording video within a text box remain available for users or will you replace this feature?

Hi @rosalia5 - First, allow me to make clear that I'm a fellow Community member like yourself and do NOT work for Canvas or Instructure, but I attest that this has already been addressed, specifically here in the December 8, 2018 Release Notes. Additionally, Canvas is busy working on a new rich content editor, and the current one will have an "end of life" in June. (Though to be sure it has had its early hiccups in Beta.) Right now, it is primarily the users of Edge and Safari who are suffering from being forced to use Flash, since (as the release notes point out) they do not follow the new standard. (Check the Known Browser Behaviors section here: Which browsers does Canvas support? )
