Resize Canvas Studio with Embedded Quiz

Our team is adding quizzes to videos through Canvas Studio. We are finding that the video player is quite small. Additionally there is a tabbed box below the video that we don't really need.
So two questions:
1. Is there a way to make the video larger (note: we are using this as an assigned quiz so the video shows up as an external tool making it in accessible through the rich text or html editors)?
2. Is there a way to collapse the tabbed box with things like comments etc? I can collapse the element in CSS but then I am left with white space and I cannot find what else I need to change.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
