Restrict self-enrollment to a course(s) or sub-account

Good morning,

We are in need of restricting self-enrollment to a set of courses or even a sub-acct (We do not want to enable it for all manually created courses). I was hoping that we could enable this within a sub-acct but that does not seem to be an option.  Hoping that someone has a creative workaround for this.
