SIMS > Canvas Integration

Hello

We are currently in the implementation phase. As a private international college of about 500 students and 80 staff, timetables and students are changing constantly throughout the year so CSV uploads isn't a practical solution for us. Groupcall seems to pull most of the data in but then needs manual adjustment and doesn't pick up photos. 

Does anybody have any suggestions or advice on how they are currently pulling data from SIMS?

Hello  @saqib_safdar ...

While I don't necessarily have an answer for you myself, I wanted to check in with you because I noticed there hasn't been any new activity in this particular discussion topic since early November 2017.  It seems that you may have stumped members of the Canvas Community with your question.  Have you been able to come up with any solutions on your own since you first posted this question on November 1, 2017?  If so, would you be willing to share back here in this topic?  Or, if you are still looking for some assistance with this question from Community members, please let us know that as well so that someone might be able to assist you.  I'm going to go ahead and mark your question as "Assumed Answered"...not because we've necessarily found an answer for you...but because there hasn't been any new activity in this thread for over four months.  That won't prevent you or others from posting additional questions and/or comments below, however.  I hope that's okay with you, Saqib.  Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.

Hello saqib and anyone else with the same question. We use Sims and canvas. Currently...

• Run reports from sims
• Being those into a spreadsheet
• Export specific ranges from spreadsheet to CSV
• Import into canvas

Would be nice if there was a simpler way.
