SMS verification code not sending

I'm trying to add my Verizon phone number as a contact in my canvas notifications. I've tried to set it up multiple times within the past ten minutes and I can't find a solution that has been posted in the last year.

We have had a support ticket in for this problem for a very long time. It is a known issue with Verizon.

I don't suppose either of you have gotten a resolution for this?  Do you have the case number I could reference when filing my own ticket about the issue?

I have not received an SMS verification code either but my carrier is AT&T. Have you any suggestions?

I have the same problem, no confirmation code sent to set up phone notifications. Any moderators following this thread? Any updates on resolving this problem? Bueller? Bueller?
