how to make a sandbox for myself ? 

I don't have one and I need it .

"Sandbox" is another term for a blank course. If you don't see the ability to Start a New Course on your dashboard, it means that the local Canvas admin for your district has disabled that capability for teachers. Please reach out directly to them to request a course shell.
