Student Cancels Scheduler Appointment. Slot Then Disappears?

I schedule office hours using the scheduler/appointments functionality on Canvas. I've never had any problems with the feature. I block out the days and times I have office hours, I divide the times into 20-minute slots, and then I allow one student to sign up for each slot. When someone signs up for a slot, that slot is then filled and other students cannot sign up for it. But just this quarter, a problem has started happening: If a student signs up for a slot, and then cancels their appointment, the slot does not reopen for other students to fill. Instead, Canvas seems to treat the student's cancellation as if I've deleted the slot. 


Anyone else having this issue? Any insight into how to resolve it?

dziff@uw.edu, greetings! I'm sorry to see that you haven't gotten a response from the Community. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, then I would recommend contacting Canvas Support. The best way to do this is to click on the Help link (on the left in Canvas) and "Report a Problem."
