Students being moved into a different section/course

Students were moved into different homeroom classes after the school year started- sometimes as late as January when remote learners returned for face-to-face instruction. Their writing assessments did not transfer with them to their new homeroom. Is there a way I can find their writing so I can score it?

Hi StacyNichols,
When a student transfers courses in Canvas, their grades and previously submitted work do not transfer with them. The only way to get it is for them to re-submit it or have the instructor in the section they were moved from provide you their work or the score they received on the work in their class. You may also want to reach out to a local Canvas Admin for assistance with this.
