Total Grade Setting

I am a faculty member, and had some issues with students concerned during the semester, that their overall (total) grade was artificially low.  Is there a setting where the faculty member can toggle on/off a students ability to see the overall (total) grade?

While I think it is very important for students to be able to view their grades and also highly value grading transparency, this can be done in Canvas. This guide will show you how: How do I hide totals in my student grade summaries?
