Trying to add second to observe

I am trying to add my second child under "Observing".  Every time I enter their Observer Code I get the error "Your code is incorrect or expired"  I have tried both the browser version and the mobile app.  The issue is not that they are expiring or that they are being copied incorrectly.  My children got to different schools but in the same district.  

Please help.

You're not the only one who has posted this concern in the Canvas Community. If you are unable to get the codes to cooperate, I encourage you to ask your local Canvas Administrator for guidance. Usually, they can manually pair the student(s) to the observer as well.
