Unsent Canvas Message Retrieval? Accidentally Closed the Browser.

While constructing my message directly in canvas to my professor, the tab was accidentally closed. Is there any way to retrieve that lost constructed message as soon as possible? It was a reference list with details for the research paper that I did not have a back-up on.

Most likely not as I don't believe there is any sort of auto-save feature when sending a message through the InBox.
