Vocabulary look up

Is it possible to have the system look up vocabulary words in the text as a the student is reading with maybe a mouse over system?

Hi  @ggates  Welcome to the Canvas Community!

If you are at all familiar with the HTML Editor, you can add Tool Tips (displays hover text on mouse over)  to either text or an image. This is not a particularly accessible option, but it's the bast I got.

Add a Tool Tip to Text

1. Type your text into the Rich Content Editor

2. Change to HTML editor. How do I edit content in the HTML view in the Rich Content Editor? (Links to an external site.)

3. Put <span title="Text you want to display in the tooltip"> before your text and </span> after your text
