Who's in your Canvas team?

I'm curious to know how other institutions handle the different tasks and challenges that come with the Canvas roll-out and maintenance.

Which different roles does your institution's Canvas team consist of and who supports the Canvas project from your IT team (full-time, part-time, on demand)? Do you have external support, too? How many students are using Canvas at your institution?

Community Coach
Community Coach, we are a small Community College (2-year public Institution) with around 2500 students. Our team consists of...

  • Director, Online Learning - full time
  • Online Support Specialist - full time
  • Internet Systems Specialist - 1/4 time and as needed (we borrow this person from IT)
  • Two student workers - 8-10 hours a week each
  • Canvas Support (external) - we pay for the mid level support from Canvas and have been very happy with it.

We've been using Canvas for 6+ years and this team seems to be enough to manage things.
