Why does "duplicate" not appear as an option for my assignment?

When I click on the three vertical dots to the right side of an assignment, I am not shown the option to "duplicate." I am shown only these options: 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Amy,

What type of assignment are you looking at?  The page on duplicating assignments ( https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-11793-4152768840 )

says: 

• Assignments currently cannot be duplicated for quizzes.
• Except for Quizzes.Next assessments, assignments configured as an external tool (LTI) submission type cannot be duplicated.

You can check the assignment type by editing the assignment and looking at the "Submission Type" setting.

Thanks, Michael. It is an assignment using turnitin.com, which is why it won't allow me to duplicate. Somehow I overlooked that detail!
