Hi Donna Andress,

If by create it you mean as you create a question (in a quiz) to assign it to a bank automatically, no, you'll have to create the question in the question bank area not the quiz area.

If by create it you mean create a question bank then, yes, you definitely move questions into the question bank you just created. Usually questions from a quiz are in the Unfiled Question Bank, so that's where you'll find existing questions from quizzes.

Questions in the unfiled bank

How do I move/copy a question from one question bank to another?

How do I move multiple questions from one question bank to another?

Dialog box to move or copy question into a new bank.

Hope these tips help,

If you have a quiz bank already created, open the bank and then click the "Add a question" to create the questions directly in the bank.

How do I create a question bank in a course?

If you are in the quiz and creating questions that way, these questions are automatically added to the "Unfiled" quiz bank. You can't change the default bank these are added to.

If you want, you can go into the "Unfiled" quiz bank and copy/move these questions to your other question banks.

Cheers,
