I receive this each time a student sends a message to me. How can I resolve this?

I don't have the best answer, but something similar happened to me. I was receiving emails like this because of a link that I had that was not working.

By any chance, do you have emails that can connect you directly to that broken link? If not, you can always go to your notification center and turn off receiving notifications if it just a nuisance!

I do love my some Canvas help! If all else fails, grab one of the friends over at the help center. They should be able to go in your course and give you the best answer yet!

In addition to the information that  @ddaniels  provided to you, I wanted to provide you with a couple links to Guides here in the Community.

• How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as an instructor? -- This is where you can turn on/off the alerts you get about broken links in your course.  Scroll to the bottom of your "Notifications" screen, and look for the "Alerts" heading.  There should be a row for "Content Link Error".  Hover your mouse over those three words to see a further description of what that notification does.
• How do I validate links in a course? -- This is always a good idea...especially before your course starts.  This link validator helps to identify broken links in your course as well as links that may point to other courses...which your students probably wouldn't have access to.
