there is a message that states your browser does not support our canvas and this message pops up each time I log in to the Chamberlain University website portal.

Hi Candice,
Canvas works best with fairly current/up to date browsers, as listed in the article that ddick@wcc.vccs.edu pointed you to. What web browser and version are you using when you get this error message? Is it listed as a supported browser inhttps://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10720-67952720329
If you are logging in with Respondus LockDown Browser, that is based on Chrome so Canvas treats it as a Chrome variant. Make sure that you have the most recent LockDown Browser version.

Candace,
This resource may prove to be helpful for you https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10720 it is always updated with the newest versions.
I have found that my faculty sometimes have blockers on their browsers that inhibit Canvas from working seamlessly as well.
Hope this helps
Dave
