captions in Kaltura videos

If we add captions to (or edit captions in) a Kaltura video in our (instructor's) "My Media" *after* having already published it and distributed it to Pages in Modules for viewing in multiple Canvas classes, what happens?  Will the updated captions automatically show up in the video when students access it in the various Pages/Modules where it's been published?  Or do we have to delete it from those Pages/Modules and replace it with the updated, captioned video?
