deleting "auto saved data" of/in "Announcements"

I have a question: I need to delete "auto saved content" in the announcements. How do I do that? (Every time I try to create an announcement, I get a dialogue box saying there is "auto saved content" and asking me if I want to view it. I want to make that message go away.)
