Do students get an email when I post an announcement?

Hi  @dmyers  Welcome to the Canvas Community.

In a way they do. You Inbox message will trigger an email. BUT, the students may have changed their Notifications to not receive a message. If you would like to remind them to change their notifications here's a guide you could share with them: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10624-4212710344
