Is there a way to stop notifications from my Canvas inbox from flooding my school email account?

Hi! Yes, it is possible to customize your email notifications. 

How do I set my Canvas notification preferences as a student? 

You'll be able to decide how frequently you are notified (right away, daily, weekly, never). 

You are also able to adjust notifications at the course level.
