media recorder not uploading videos

Hi Canvas community,

several instructors at my institution including me have been having trouble uploading/saving media (audio but especially video) comments for feedback. We record and then click Save but it never uploads. The video just sits there with no error message or spinning upload buttons. It is very frustrating. Anybody else?

 @britta_burton ‌, have you resolved this? I just had a teacher report this to me today and see the same behavior when I try to submit his assignment as a test student

My spinning ball of death was resolved by turning off my ad-blockers. 😄
