In quizzes, I created a quiz. When trying to upload it to a module, it does not appear in choices

This guide will get you there How do I add course content to a module?

Essentially........

• Click the plus sign (+) at the right of the module title,
• In the drop down box on the dialog frame that opens, choose Quiz,
• Select the appropriate quiz.

It may be that you used New Quizzes instead of the legacy quiz tool. In that case, you would search "Assignments".
