Hi @mahria_brantley and welcome to the Canvas Community. You've actually posted your question to a worldwide community where users from different institutions discuss their experiences of Canvas. This means we don't have access to content from individual schools and colleges, so we can't advise on exactly where in Canvas you will find the textbooks you're looking for. It depends on how your teacher has arranged the course so it's best to ask the teacher directly. You should be able to contact the teacher through Canvas - if you click the "Help" button on the left menu, you should see a link to "Ask your instructor a question" which lets you send a message to the teacher.
