what's the difference between units and pages

i've created a series of pages, but I cannot see how to link them, should i have a unit to hold them within?

Hi  @mary_mcculloch .  I love using modules to organize/link my content which is similar to the idea of units.  You might consider this and see if it would fit your needs.  Here are a couple of documents that describe modules and how to add content to modules.
