In this Videri release (May 17), new California Dashboard metrics and dashboards are available to support California State Accountability. Several new metrics are available to California districts for identifying progress for English Learners. Math and ELA Distance from Standard metrics use the CAASPP Smarter Balanced assessments. Additionally, an Alerts module is available to provide feedback to Videri Administrators when administrative functions need to be performed.
State Accountability Metrics for California
New California Dashboard metrics and dashboards are available to support California State Accountability. Any Videri district in California will automatically see these dashboards (no configuration required). Indicators are updated automatically as new state assessments are periodically loaded. Videri maintains the California Dashboard formulas each year for calculating the Key Performance Indicators.
English Learner Progress
Several new metrics are available to California districts for identifying progress for English Learners. These metrics use the ELPAC summative assessments to calculate ELPI growth metrics and determine student performance based on state performance expectations. Dashboards illustrate district performance and highlight students whose progress is stagnant, maintaining, or regressing.
Math and ELA Distance from Standard
The Distance from Standard metrics use the CAASPP Smarter Balanced assessments, calculates the Distance from Standard for each student, then provides actionable dashboards to quickly address areas of concern.
Videri Alerts
An Alerts module is available to provide feedback to Videri Administrators when administrative functions need to be performed, such as updates to user automation or library synchronization, or back-end processes failure.
