  • Background and location: We are based in Caboolture, just north of QLD. We only employ Australian staff, but in late 2017 we decided not to have a large office anymore and instead everyone now works remotely from their homes or other preferred locations. We service students in all parts of Australia and have dozens of students overseas too.

  • Contract type: 99.5% of our income comes from the students or their employers. We don't benefit from any government funded programs.

  • Background and location: We are an Adelaide-based RTO, attached to an Employment Services Provider, Status. 
  • Contract type: Status is a provider of Australian Government Employment Services including jobactive and Disability Employment Services (DES). 
  • Org size:  280 staff Status-wide, 60 staff in Training Services Division, 4 staff in eLearning
  • Student numbers: Approx 900 enrolled in Training Services (350 in eLearning)
  • Cohort type/characteristics: The majority of our cohort is made up of job seekers, with a smaller percentage of trainees, school aged students, and Fee for Service clients

    About my organisation:

    • Background and location: BCITO has been around for 30 years, we because a part of Te Pūkenga a few months back. Te Pūkenga (New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology) is the vocational education provider in New Zealand. In February 2019, the Government announced that the country's sixteen Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics would merge to form the new organisation; the merger was effective on 1 April 2020.
