Hi -
Editing issuer settings to add LinkedIn page to account is not an option available for me?
How do I find out if this functionality is available for my account?
I changed the Issuer primary email and since then, when I award a badge, emails are not being sent to awardees. How can I fix this?
In this Canvas Credentials (Badgr) release (12 July), the Canvas Credentials (Badgr) LTI 1.3 update allows existing LTI installations to be upgraded to the newest version. Badge triggering occurs automatically once daily and users can associate a pathway within the LTI to track badge and pathway progress. Students are automatically subscribed to associated pathways based on roster enrollment. Additionally, Canvas administrators can preauthorize issuers or organization for courses to use and prevent the use of personal issuers. Paid users can award badges based on course grade and individual assignments in addition to module completion as well as set leaderboard points on badges to give badges different weights.

I passed my Milestone Certified Design Engineer (MCDE) assessment and was awarded with a badge that they said I could add to my canvas account. I tried adding it multiple times and nothings working. It doesn't give me a URL I can use so exporting it directly is the only way. I created an account and signed in. Made sure the emails matched and nothing. Any have any idea why it's not adding the badge to my account?

Hi There! Great question. I'm going to share some guides and some information that I hope m...
Every time I create a new course and go to add badges to that course I get the attached message. Is there any way to install this new version of Badgr on the account level so I don't need to upgrade for every course I build?
Once I install the new version and then refresh the page, it asks me to then verify the account by submitting my email address and then inputting a code I received.
I'm trying to streamline this process as I need to do this for a large number of courses each term. Would appreciate any tips on how to cut back on the amount of steps required here. Thanks in advance!

Canvas Badges
Previously, Badgr Pro required an extra subscription cost.
Now that Canvas has acquired Badgr and it is being rebranded as Canvas Credentials...does anyone know if those Badgr Pro features will still require an extra cost? Or will those features be included in our Canvas subscription?

I would like to talk to anyone who is using Canvas and Badgr Pathways to track faculty professional development. The would be for tenure and promotion and/or adjunct faculty professional development. We want to use tools that we already are using. I am interested in anyone who has done this whether you were successful or not - what other solutions have you tried? I am finding that the more specialized products tend to be more inflexible.
Thanks!
PS. Apologies in advance: I was forced to choose a label to post here and none of the labels made sense.

Canvas Credentials
Hello!
I have an Open Badge that has the assertion baked into my badge image via the SignedBadge assertion type (https://www.imsglobal.org/sites/default/files/Badges/OBv2p0Final/index.html#SignedBadge).
I can perfectly validate that badge via the validator tool from badgr (https://badgecheck.io/) but cannot add it to my backpack (https://badgr.com/backpack/badges).
When I try to add it I get the following error: see attachment "Screenshot 2023-01-03 182226.jpg"
When I check the network tab for the request I also noticed that the server responds with a status code of 500 which means an internal server error has occured (see attachment "Screenshot 2023-01-03 182537.jpg").
I will also put the uploaded badge in the attachments ("Test - Badge(1).png")
It seems as if the badgr backpack does not support the signed assertions. But then I question myself why not, as this is clearly layed out in the Open Badges 2.0 specifications.
Any help on this topic would be highly appreciated 🙂
Dear community,
I am the designer as well as the teaching assistant of my MOOC. However, when I access the badge page, it reminds me of accepting the updated terms of service. After checking the "read and agree" box, I have typed the "continue" button, and it leads me to another interface with only an icon of "loading" running. I have tried to log on to my account on three different computers, and it's always the same. I think there might be some problems with my account. Could you please kindly advise me on what to do in this case? Thanks for your support.
Where does the root admin add badges for all the teachers in their institution to use in their courses?
