Currently, when teachers create an assignment, they can assign it to everyone, sections or individual students. However, in some cases, they have student who get modified assignments.

How teachers are handling this is to create two different assignments. The modified assignments are easily given to the small group of students who need that assignment. The non-modified assignment then gets assigned to numerous students - sometimes 80+. There is not an easy way to assign this. It requires adding all 80+ students one at a time. 

There should be a way in which teachers can create sets of custom groups to easily assign the modified and non-modified assignments in the assign to field when creating an assignment, quiz or discussion.
