A pause button would be useful in moderate for addl time.  If a student has an accommodation, we have no way of removing the time limit for the student or reopening the quiz after the time is up.  A student must pass to another class, so the additional time is not helpful, removing the time limit for that student is not helpful either.  Allowing us to pause and give additional time would make meeting a student's accommodations much easier. As it stands now in the new quiz, you can not give addl time unless it can be completed within the timeframe of the class.  Reopening and allowing addl time is not an option.
