When my students hace trouble with an assigment, they will send a private message in Canvas, and most of the times it will include a screenshot to show what was the problem. 

But, you can't see the image in the message unless you downlod it. It would be great if you could see it in the message windows without downloading it first. It would save time and some HDD space.
