Items in the grade book are available for sync with SIS. However, sections are not in the sync and individuals are not available for sync. Why not mimic assignments' ability to be allowed to sync with sections? This would allow for any individual or user to be synced IF they have a grade and are a member of a synced section and allow for differentiation within an assignment.

With the functionality added, Instructors would be able to assign due and availability dates to multiple variations of sections and individuals. Students who need extended time could be assigned extended time without confusion. This works for SPED modifications and students out due to COVID or other illnesses and keeps communicating the intended dates in their calendars and notifications. This might also allow for syncs for individual assignments.
