Recently, we were in the process of adding calendar events in batch to Canvas, coming from our SIS, when we found out that there are no options in the API to create events with a SIS ID as identifier. This means there are no options to connect a calendar event in Canvas to an event in the SIS.

Based on our investigation, we hereby would like to share a feature request for Canvas, which is to add an endpoint in the API which makes it possible connect a SIS ID to a calendar event as an identifier.
