We have been trialling marking using a mobile device (Apple and Android) using the Canvas Teacher app and have noticed the app is still largely undeveloped. Some key featuers that are missing from the app are:

• The app does not allow half mark entries. It would be great if we could have a marks box ain addition to the slider bar.
• Word count and average mark data is missing from the app. The markers are having to revert to a PC/browser to locate this important informaiton.
• Rubric on the app needs major improvements, it looks completely different. There is no space to add free comments, and it seems to apply grades automatically even if not set up to do so.
• The text box in comments should be bigger to allow easy writing as we are using pencils to add comments.
