Bio:
I am an Instructional Design Consultant, working at the University of Birmingham's. I have specific responsibility for the College of Life and Environmental Sciences (LES) which comprises of 4 schools Biosciences, Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Psychology and Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences.
I have an interest in E-Learning in general, and use of lecture capture technology such as Panopto, for supporting staff and students. Other areas of interest include feedback issues, use of Turnitin, online / offline marking and how technology can support this, along with the general use of different technology for learning.
I spend my days meeting staff and course teams to give advice on structures and potential of the eLearning in their courses along with what is possible at all levels of the organisation.
