Bio:
I have a BS in Chemistry and General Biology, minoring in Math/Physics and Religious Studies; my MS in Chemistry, and my PhD in Educational Technology. After teaching chemistry for as long as I have (15+ years), I love all things related to teaching science and the unique design factors of science courses. I've also worked with students with disabilities for roughly the last 18 years, so I am very passionate about accessibility and inclusivity in the classroom (both physical and digital). I can go on forever about Universal Design for Learning! I am also always looking at better ways to integrate OER and other approaches that help reach a wider audience of learners. I've built zero textbook cost degrees (Z-degrees as the current lingo goes), and it's an exciting challenge!

I'm actually switching institutions and would like people to still be able to use the materials I created, so this was a very helpful response!

We actually found a place nearby that does drop-in care, so I think we'll be okay (as long as it is as good in person as it seems online).

I'm researching thoroughly, but perhaps someone with more knowledge of the area could recommend child care options for a very well-behaved 3-year-old near the convention center.InstructureCon 2019Help...

Do you have the UDOIT tool or another accessibility checker available?  For UDOIT, when I run a check, it catches all the images where the alt text is the file name and prompts me to fix it.  Since it...

The costs of the guest pass and kid pass just seem pretty high for what you get.  $150 for a kid for 7 meals (assuming they eat them all) is $21 a meal.  For guests, it works out to $56 per meal!  I c...
