Hi, We had a similar problem at our school and I think I may have a fix for it. When at the Dashboard on the Mobile App, click on the gearwheel and see how many courses you have 'starred'. When we asked our students to only have their academic courses starred and not all their club and announcement courses it seemed to repopulate the calendar. Perhaps there's an error in the mobile app that prevents the events being seen if the amount of favorites checked hits a maximum. Not sure what that number is but it seemed to fix the problem for us. Hi everyone, As I have not been very active in this community as I would have liked to have been in the past, I just wanted to drop a line and say... WE ARE VERY THANKFUL THAT THE TO-DO LIST FEATURE IN CANVAS NOW SHOWS UP FOR EVERY SUBMISSION TYPE. For some reason, our students don't check the Calendar as much as we'd like them to but instead always go to the To-Do list. This improvement has been an amazing help to our faculty and staff.

It's an error message some of our students are receiving when they log in to Canvas. It seems to have affected only a small number of users. We may have tracked down the problem. They all seem to be getting the same error if they're enrolled in a certain course.

1. Add items to modules from apps on iOS devices. Possibly similar to how students submit work? Share to Canvas and then add to modules from that "Submit" placeholder area? 2. To Do list updates for ALL types of assignments not just "Online, File Upload" submissions. I realize this is a bug but it'd be cool if Calendar events also showed up in the To-Do list. A checkbox possibly that allows teachers to post updates in the To-Do list if they want their students to read or watch a video but don't want to create an actual assignment for that.

I would love for our teachers to be able to create assignments from their mobile device and have the ability to attach documents from Google Drive or other apps where they've created content like Notability, Explain Everything, etc. Even if there was a way to have the teacher use "Open In" and have a placeholder spot for attaching those documents to an assignment similar to the process our students use when uploading their work for a submission. I don't know if that's a possibility, but it's something our faculty has mentioned as a cool feature they'd like to see.
