Category Percentage (weight) Total Points # of submissions Papers 30% 300 2 Post Discussion 15% 150 10 Pre Discussion 15% 150 10 Final Exam 20% 200 1 Participation 2% 20 3 Analysis 18% 180 9 Total Points 1000 If a student got 300/300, are you saying the actual percentage is more than 30%? ... Have you considered doing a needs assessment to determine what training/professional development faculty actually wants or needs. People are more motivated, as  @john_morris ​, mentioned to attend something that they find valuable. Are there other incentives you can offer besides money---time, technology, etc. ... View more

Jared---have you had any issues with badging and FERPA? Has this come up as something that may be of issue? On of our IT people suggested that, there might be a possible issue with Canvas Badges passing information to Twitter. Specifically, Twitter's terms of service state "some usage information will be passed back to Twitter" and that this may or may not open a backdoor to FERPA protected information. ... View more
