Staff Sergeant Baldassarre was born on July 10, 1986. In October 2010 he enlisted in the Marine Corps as a H-1 Helicopter Mechanic and attended basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California. He then went through the Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, California. In February 2011 PFC Baldassarre reported to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training Marine Unit in Camp Pendleton, California and earned MOS designation 6114. In April of 2011 he checked into his first duty station at Helicopter Marine Light Attack 469 (HMLA-469) at Camp Pendleton, California. In June 2011 PFC Baldassarre was promoted to LCpl where he obtained AH-1W Plane Captain. In April 2012 he deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he obtained the Qualification of UH-1Y Plane Captain. In January 2013 he was promoted to the rank of Corporal. While at HMLA 469 he obtained his Collateral Duty Inspector qualification. In October of 2014 Cpl Baldassarre went to HMLAT-303 Training squadron where he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and earned the Qualification of Quality Assurance. In May 2015 Sgt Baldassarre went back to HMLA-469. Sgt Baldassarre reenlisted in the Marine Corps on November 11, 2015. In January 2016 Sgt Baldassarre went to Center for Naval Aviation Technical Training to be a H-1 Helicopter Mechanic Instructor and earned his qualifications as a basic instructor, instructor evaluator, and ultimately as a Master Training Specialist. Sgt Baldassarre was selected for promotion during FY 2018 and promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant on April 2018. In August of 2019, SSgt Baldassarre reported to MSG School as a Detachment Commander student. Upon graduation, he received orders to the American Embassy in Kuwait City, Kuwait where he currently lives with his wife of 6 years (Desiree) and their daughter (Olivia).
