Dr. Laurie G. Hillstock has over 20 years of experience in learning and development. Currently, Dr. Hillstock is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Hillstock & Associates, LLC, a private consulting firm located in Greenville, SC, providing eLearning and development services to institutions and organizations throughout the US. Prior to this role, Dr. Hillstock served for over 15 years in higher education as a faculty member and administrator, responsible for curriculum design and the development of online programming. She also served for a few years in Healthcare, where she implemented online learning best practices and managed the support and production of over 50,000 pieces of the curriculum for one of the largest healthcare systems in the state. She is an accomplished, innovative leader with a background in higher education, healthcare, and non-profits. She has expertise in building virtual communities, strategic planning, leadership development, e-learning, and administering various digital learning environments. While flexible and inter-culturally competent, she has an innate commitment to quality online experiences. Dr. Hillstock holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership (Higher Education) and a M.A. in Human Resource Development from Clemson University. She also holds a B.A. in English from Converse College.
