I wish someone from Canvas would respond to this thread.It's been two years that people have been talking about this and still nothing has changed. I will not use quizzes next until this all or nothing feature for matching is fixed. I feel like Canvas doesn't read this. There are a lot of strong feelings about this and yet there has been no response.

We shouldn't have to vote on this. Giving credit for right answers on matching should be automatic; it's in the original quizzes. Do we actually have to wait until enough people vote for this to get functionality that we had before? And not only that, we are going to be forced to use quizzes.next soon so all the work we do in quizzes will be useless in the future. Since I refuse to use it until they fix it, all the question banks for tests and quizzes I make cannot be transferred easily. Users will have to manually create all tests, quizzes and question banks again for quizzes.next. Regardless, I can't believe we have to vote about this.

I wish they would just give us what we want and not make us vote on improvements. I never look at this voting stuff and I am pretty sure I support most suggestions that make canvas easier to use.

I dislike quizzes next intensely. You have to manually add points to matching questions. I made the matching question worth 16 points; student misses just one and gets a 0. Why not let teachers know beforehand that the students have to get a perfect score or they get a 0. I had to put in all the points for matching by using fudge points. What a waste of time. They regular quizzes doesn't do that. Another crappy thing about quizzes next is that you can't just move your question banks over to quizzes next with just a click. That is going to be hours of copy and pasting. And another thing, you can finally record in canvas without having go through a maze, and now we have to migrate to quizzes next which doesn't have a recording option.

Make this easier! I hate having all the scores disappear and I have to go in and manually regrade just because I deleted one question that turned out to be a bad question.

I would love to have that functionality on canvas. As far as I can tell quizlet can't be used this way and Canvas doesn't have the ability to quickly make a test out of course material that is created by the teacher.
