Partial credit for ANY questions with multiple parts! Totally insane that quizzes (old or new) can't be set so that students get partial credit for any question that has multiple parts (matching, categorization, fill in the blank etc...). My idea... mak... |

Problem statement: Hi. My students have just told me that they keep getting zero on categorization questions in the new quizzes program. Is there a way to give them the credit they deserve, even if they get 1 wrong. All or nothing is very frustrating for kids and me because now that I know, I have to go in and manually 1 by 1 and mark each quiz. Very frustrating, that was not the purpose, immediate feedback is what the kids need. Proposed solution: Change the marking so that kids get the credit they deserve. Thank you for sharing this idea, @MariaCattell . Upon searching this forum, you'll find active ideas requesting partial credit for each of the question types in New Quizzes that don't already afford this option. Please search for those existing ideas and add your comments and rating to each. We'll archive and lock this one to prevent those threads from branching off.
With regard to "old or new," our product teams are no longer developing new functionality on the code base for Old (Classic) Quizzes, which is scheduled for deprecation.
