I have a policy where students can revise and re-submit for an updated grade.
The issue I have is that I have set up a late submission policy with grade deduction. My policy is to deduct points for the initial late submission but allow resubmissions without any penalties. However, each resubmission has been adding to the student's late submission and getting additional points deducted.
Is there a way to change the setting or work around this setting?

It's been 12 months since September 2015. Please reopen and consider implementing this feature. Some assignments are great with points but some are just better with percentages and some better with letter grades. I realize that we can input a percentage or a letter grade but it would be also super helpful to be able to plug into the rubric and have the students be able to see the reasoning for their percentage or letter grade.
