In the case that anyone else has this problem, I finally have a resolution to this VERY frustrating problem.  This is what I received from the Pearson Tech Team, and it finally worked.  Please Note that I would have NEVER thought of this because I am not really trying to "sync grades". Good day! I hope this email finds you well and safe. Apologies for the inconvenience that this concern has caused you. For the assignments that are not synching Professor, please try to manually synch it in Canvas, please see the steps below.  For manual grade synchronization :  Log into Canvas. Click on the MyLab and Mastering link in the course navigation menu to the left. You should now see the Home tab of the MyLab and Mastering tool. Click on the Grade Sync tab to access the tool’s synchronization settings. Choose the items that you would like to synchronize immediately by clicking on the checkboxes beside them. Click the "Sync Grades Now" button to begin updating the selected assignments. Once your grades have finished synchronizing, view your Assignments and Grades by clicking the respective links in the course navigation menu.  ... View more

I am having a similar issue.  (1) I created a Course on Person's MyLab Math (MLM) (2) I integrated Canvas/MLM (3) no problem with the assignments showing in the dropdown box of assignments to link in canvas.... BUT then I made updates to the MLM course, and the new assignment on MLM shows up in MLM but does not show up in the list of assignments on Canvas.  I can not find a way to create a link to the assignmetn on canvas.
