Problem statement:
When a student clicks an assignment link in their grade book it takes them to the submission details page. This page has a submit button if there is a native submission type. If there is an external tool being used such as Turnitin the button is not there. Some students believe this is because the assignment is locked.
Proposed solution:
Put a blue submit button in the same location but it could take you back to the assignment page which would fit all external tool types.

This would be very helpful when we have student assistants help instructors in IT. We have them added as a TA then they walk them through their solution and they will automatically be deleted.
