Bio:
Greetings from West Central Indiana! I am a Technology Instructional Specialist for Clay Community Schools in Brazil, Indiana. I have been in this position since 2017 and previously spent 18 years teaching Spanish, English, Communications, and Theatre. In transitioning to the role in instructional technology I have grown my love for collaboration, blended learning, all things Canvas, as well as all things Google. Working to increase student engagement is one of my passion projects! I am both an ISTE Certified Educator and a Canvas Certified Educator.
Outside of my daily duties, I also serve as a co-leader of the Indiana Canvas Users and Educators (INCUE) group, a Digital Learning Coach with Keep Indiana Learning, a board member for Hoosier Educational Computer Coordinators (HECC), and was selected to sit on the Digital Learning Leadership Cadre through the IDOE. I love learning new skills and helping others.
